Team communication

Announcements give managers a consistent place for team-wide updates and employees a shared place to read them.

Managers with the relevant permission can use announcements for information the team should see. Employees can find published updates through Announcements instead of searching through unrelated conversations.

Each announcement shows when it was posted or updated and who posted it. Employees can select Acknowledge to record that they have read it, and use Show unread to focus on announcements they have not yet acknowledged.

An announcement can explain what the team needs to know, but acknowledging it does not complete a request. Availability changes, leave applications, shift cancellations and open-shift applications each have their own place in Weekli, where you can see their current status.

This distinction keeps the published roster as the record of assigned work while announcements provide shared context.

Activity logs show administrators a time-ordered record of activity. Logs is currently available only during development, so do not rely on it in a live workspace.

Try the demo to read and acknowledge example announcements. Choose Owner / admin to see management controls or Employee to see the employee view. Demo changes are temporary and reset when you refresh or leave.
